Front End MeetUp

Friends, we are thrilled to invite you over!

This time we will share with you our knowledge in Front End Development.

„How did we solve it? „, by Cristina Șargu – in this presentation, we would like to share our experience in dealing with UI challenges. We will tell you about the abuse of SASS mixins and how we reduced the final CSS file three times. Also, we would say to you how we managed to simplify the work with Typography. And share our thoughts about creating components that are the same but different.

„Bumpy road to FP,” by Ivan Parmaclii – we are going to discuss functional programming and what it means to migrate a codebase. We will explore the world free of points and variables (almost).

About the speakers:

Cristina Șargu – has been working as a Front End Developer for over five years. She is most passionate about UI, styling, and collaboration with designers. Throughout her career at Ellation, she has been working on defining the style guide, building new features, and creating components library.

Ivan Parmaclii – is a Software Engineer with over four years of experience in JavaScript. He loves to Reason about functional patterns, to React on hypes in twitter and sometimes to write code that works.

We have a shared love for Front-End Web Development – the speakers guarantee space for open questions and discussion on challenges you’ve met. We want to hear about your experience as well, and please be ready to share with us your knowledge!

We are waiting for you on August 15, at Ellation Office.
